Currently I need to decide whether to join the Mage's Guild and work my way up their ranks (tho' magic isn't really my Assassin's forte), maybe undertake some Daedric Shrine quests, clear out a few abandoned forts/mines/caves or finally deliver the Amulet of Kings to Weylon Priory and kickstart the MQ. I've avoided playing the main quest pretty much - at level 35 I'm Guildmaster for the Fighter's Guild & the Thieves Guild, Grand Champion in the Arena & Listener of the Dark Brotherhood and bought seven houses - but I've just closed my first Oblivion Gate in Kvetch. Oblivion graphics are a big improvement on Morrowind tho' the combat sucks even more than KoA: The Reckoning's so I pretty much default to using a bow and sniping in Sneak Mode (and as I'm playing a Dark Elf Assassin that seems pretty appropriate). Quite shortly after posting the previous I bought a used copy of Oblivion for my daughter and I've been pretty much solidly playing that ever since. I previously tried playing this maybe eight years ago? Got someway into the early stages of the game but then reached a point where I couldn't clear a houseful of bandits or something so left it.I think I'm going to chalk Morrowind up as another of my (short) list of unfinished games* mainly due (this time) to the clunky graphics. I've been resting from video games since finishing KoA: The Reckoning but with the Christmas holidays upon us, I've loaded up my copy of Morrowind on the PC.
